Bertus Snyman
BA, LLB (Stellenbosch)
Bertus is the owner and founder of Snyman Attorneys. He has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution and has represented a range of local and international companies in the retail, finance, and property sectors. He also has a keen interest in divorce law and takes pride in helping clients finalise their divorces fairly and amicably.
After completing his studies at Stellenbosch, Bertus started his career in law at a firm based in Durbanville. There he completed his articles and continued to practice as an associate. In 2017 the opportunity arose to partner with another attorney to start their firm. Hopkins & Snyman Attorneys was established shortly after that, with offices in the Cape Town CBD. The firm successfully represented many clients in commercial, litigious, and family law matters.
Bertus relocated to Paarl in 2022 and established Snyman Attorneys.
He enjoys reading history books and spending time with his wife and son. He regularly attends seminars and conferences to stay updated with legal developments.
